In our case there have been documents altered with whiteout by Judge
Mendiguren, Judge shopping by both Judge Mendiguren and Judge
West, tapes of hearings are missing, and many things have been falsely
reported into the official record. We only found out through requesting
our records from various agencies and the court. You have a right to
know that your documents are accurate, complete, and unaltered. Help
us hold the court accountable by requesting our records, your records, or
the records of someone you know. All cases that have been adjudicated
are public record and the court is required by law to respond to public
requests for those records. For the cost of a stamp and envelope you
can request records in any case and the court is REQUIRED BY LAW to
research those records and inform you by mail of the cost to reproduce
them. YOU MAY THEN CHOOSE TO HAVE THEM REPRODUCED….
OR NOT, but the court will have spent time to do the research and
respond AS REQUIRED BY LAW. The idea behind the STAMP OUT
THE LIES campaign is to stop the court from conducting “business as
usual” while our requests and concerns in this case are ignored. We
estimate that as few as 40 requests per day will require one of the court
staff to be dedicated for this task alone. The STAMP OUT THE LIES
campaign could easily slow court operations to a crawl by forcing THEM
to comply with the law.
